We Began in July, 1998
as Automation Partners Inc.
near Pittsburgh, PA as a contracting firm, focusing on manufacturing, engineering and Process Control, serving the Transportation, Metals and Instrumentation industries around Pittsburgh.
From here, services were expanded in 2000, to include Information Technology recruiting for banking and retail distribution, to help major customers cope with expected Y2K fallout.
Direct placement services, including semi-retained, were first offered soon after, as Ohio, Indiana and New York were being expanded into.
A national-scope work order in 2002 propelled the company into the wider region
The pharmaceutical industry became an important service venue in 2002 as clinical oncology professionals were recruited for Aventis.
We Became truly national in scope, 2008, and
changed our name to reflect the diversification of our portfolio, expansion of our expertise into a myriad of industries, and our reach becoming national
Additional recruiters were hired with specialties in-line with the new client base. Our current recruiting team is shown under the ‘Our Team’ banner.
During the financial crisis of 2008, we decided to expand into vertical markets, nationally.
Semi-Retained Executive Search added in 2018
Our new logo, introduced in 2019, shows a gear wheel which represents our ability to seamlessly drop into an organization and immediately begin adding value.
In the same year, (Semi) Retained Executive Search was unveiled to clients on the national marketplace. This has brought new challenges and even greater opportunities for growth and evolution.
